What You’ll Be Doing
- Journal & Reconciliation : Prepare monthly journals, intercompany charges, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
- Forecasting & Variance Analysis : Deliver monthly overhead forecasts and perform variance analysis
- Reporting & Compliance : Complete monthly Live Nation reporting, roll forwards, and ensure SOX / SOA compliance regulations are met within stipulated time frames
- Cashflow & Management Report : Produce Face to Face Monthly Management Reports, 3-Way Forecasts, and weekly cashflow forecasts for financial planning
- Banking & Payments : Manage bank account and credit card reconciliations, and review weekly creditor payments for accuracy
- Tax & Regulatory Filings : Prepare Business Activity Statements, provisional tax payments, FBT returns, and withholding tax; liaise with external accountants for year-end reviews
- Insurance & Forex : Prepare business and show insurance claims, and manage foreign exchange requirements
- Tour Accounting : Oversee Tour-related ledger entries, prepare month-end Tour related packs along with supporting analysis and commentary, perform variance analysis between Tour Actuals vs. Forecast, assist the Tour Accountant with Artist payments, and ensure Tour audit files are complete post-tour
- Leadership and Business Partnering : Partner with key stakeholders to provide clear financial insights, strengthen processes, drive continuous improvement, and foster a collaborative, accountable finance culture that delivers high quality work
What You’ll Bring
CAANZ / CPA Australia qualifications and ideally a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field5+ years’ experience as a Management Accountant or in similar rolesExpertise in management and financial accounting, forecasting, reporting, budgeting, and strategic analysisHigh proficiency in Excel along with strong skills using Oracle software. Knowledge and use of Castaway Forecasting is ideal but not essentialExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide decision-makingA flair for turning complexity into clarity – and driving continuous improvementA proactive, hands‑on operator who is comfortable managing operational detailsInterest or passion for the live entertainment industry : You bring a genuine interest in the music and entertainment industry and are excited by a career in this space!Benefits
