In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is seeking an experienced and capable Senior Project Manager to lead a complex digital transformation. This long-term engagement will see you oversee the modernisation of legacy systems and the uplift of critical services, with a strong focus on enhancing digital accessibility, performance, and user outcomes. You will be joining a collaborative and high-performing team, with a clearly defined scope of work and strong executive support.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of a complex digital transformation project
  • Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, governance and reporting frameworks
  • Coordinating internal and external resources across all phases of the project
  • Building strong, productive relationships with stakeholders across business and technical teams
  • Monitoring risks, issues and dependencies to ensure timely delivery
  • Supporting decision-making through clear, transparent reporting and analysis
  • Aligning deliverables with strategic goals and compliance requirements
  • Managing vendors and ensuring performance against contract milestones
  • Overseeing a cross-disciplinary delivery team in a hybrid agile environment

What you need to bring

  • Proven experience delivering complex digital projects within government or highly regulated sectors
  • Strong capability across project planning, budgeting, governance and stakeholder engagement
  • Confidence working with cross-functional teams
  • A calm, solutions-focused approach to ambiguity, competing demands and delivery challenges
  • Exposure to projects involving process automation, legacy system replacement or workflow modernisation

    • Bonus points for…

  • PRINCE2, AgilePM or similar certification
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and / or Power Platform
  • Familiarity with agile, hybrid or iterative project environments
