IT Support Administrator
Perth Metro | Full-time | $105k + Super
A growing national organisation with a large and expanding presence across Perth is seeking an IT Support Administrator to join their team in a highly hands-on support and project-focused role.
This position will suit someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and getting out on site to support users directly. You will initially be the key Perth-based technician, supporting a network of metro locations while working closely with a broader interstate IT team.
The organisation is continuing to grow through acquisition and transformation, so this role offers exposure to both day-to-day support and project work, with future leadership opportunities as the local team expands.
The Role
This is a varied position combining onsite support, remote troubleshooting, hardware deployment, software configuration, and integration project work.
You will be responsible for supporting end users across multiple Perth sites, resolving technical issues, assisting with outages, and helping deliver upgrades and integrations as new locations are brought into the wider business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing onsite and remote IT support across multiple Perth locations
- Troubleshooting day-to-day technical issues, outages, and escalations
- Hardware deployment, workstation refreshes, and device rollouts
- Domain joining, machine configuration, and user onboarding
- Supporting software installs, rebuilds, and environment reconfigurations
- Assisting with integration projects for newly acquired sites
- Supporting phone system and unified communications migrations
- Coordinating with external vendors and telecommunications providers
- Assisting with basic networking tasks, including switch installation and connectivity troubleshooting
- Supporting technology modernisation and standardisation projects
- Occasional interstate travel for broader team collaboration and project work
Most locations operate on a mature and standardised technology stack, with senior networking and infrastructure support available when required.
Some integration projects may take place over weekends, with time off in lieu provided.
About You
You will be proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently across multiple sites. You do not need to come from a healthcare background, although experience in healthcare, dental, or multi-site environments would be highly regarded.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in onsite IT support, desktop support, or similar hands-on support roles
- Strong Windows troubleshooting and end-user support skills
- Experience with hardware rollouts, workstation builds, and software installs
- Basic networking knowledge and confidence with physical connectivity troubleshooting
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to take ownership of issues from start to finish
- Confidence working autonomously across multiple metro locations
- A flexible and adaptable approach in a fast-growing environment
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel between Perth metro sites
Why Apply?
- Join a mature, growing national organisation
- Work across both BAU support and project delivery
- Be part of ongoing acquisitions, integrations, and transformation activity
- Future leadership potential as the Perth team grows
- Supportive national IT team environment
- Metro travel only for regular day-to-day site support
- Attractive salary package of $105k + Super
This is a hybrid position.
