Garment Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to work across a broad lifestyle product range including baby, childrenswear, sleepwear, loungewear and everyday essentials.

Working closely with Design, Product Development and Production teams, you will play a key role in ensuring fit, quality and consistency across multiple categories from development through to bulk production.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage fit sessions and provide clear, commercial fit comments.
• Create and maintain detailed technical specifications and measurement charts.
• Work closely with offshore suppliers to achieve required fit, quality and construction standards.
• Review and approve samples across development, pre-production and bulk stages.
• Conduct grading reviews and ensure consistency across size ranges.
• Troubleshoot garment construction and quality issues, providing practical solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Product and Production teams to support on-time delivery.
• Ensure products meet brand standards, customer expectations and compliance requirements.

About You

• Previous experience as a Garment Technician within Kids Apparel.
• Strong technical knowledge across childrenswear, babywear, sleepwear, loungewear or related categories.
• Confident leading fit sessions and communicating technical feedback.
• Solid understanding of garment construction, grading and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working directly with offshore factories and suppliers.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
