• Base salary from $216,300 to $310,389 (based on experience)

About the Role Join a high-performing, collegiate department delivering a wide range of anaesthesia services, with an emphasis on cardiac surgery and TOE. This is a 600-bed teaching hospital with a diverse caseload including:

• Cardiac (incl. coronary artery and valve surgery)
• Trauma and neuro
• Vascular and major general surgery
• Obstetrics and high-risk cases

You will:

• Deliver specialist anaesthetic care with a focus on cardiac surgery
• Perform and interpret transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE)
• Participate in on-call roster, research, and teaching through links with the University of Tasmania and Menzies Institute

Who We’re Looking For

• Fellowship of ANZCA or equivalent (FANZCA, FRCA, FCAI)
• Subspecialty training in cardiac anaesthesia
• Experience with intraoperative TOE
• Eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA, or via the Specialist Pathway for IMGs
• Recent experience in a tertiary setting preferred
