Job Description
- Being a role model for safety on site.
- Providing expertise and oversight to optimise mine design and scheduling.
- Reconciliation of mine design process and conformance to plan.
- Liaising with stakeholders regarding short term design and scheduling.
- Reviewing equipment conformance to plan and providing performance feedback.
- Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
Roster and Location
- Monday to Friday professional roster.
- Based on site at HVO.
About You
- A commitment to the best practice of health, safety, environment and community at all times.
- Tertiary qualifications in Mining or Civil Engineering (or demonstrated practical experience).
- Passion for problem solving using your experience, knowledge and lateral thinking skills.
- Excellent planning, organising and influencing skills.
- Computer literacy in standard systems such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
- Providing practical solutions when giving planning advice.
- Experience with Vulcan, Deswik, FMS, MinVu or other CAD software would be desirable.
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
