If you join our vacation program, you will gain the hands-on experience crucial to a successful mining career, as well as the soft skills essential for exceptional leaders. Our vacation program will see you build on the skills developed through study and apply them to real world situations.
About the Program
The Barminco Vacation Program lets you learn industry-leading, safe practises from some of the most skilled underground miners in the world. Learning what it truly means to be part of a team whilst gaining the experience necessary to sit their First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate or Underground Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency.
You will find many diverse career paths open to you upon completion. These will include operational management, corporate roles, technical engineering streams and innovation and technology. These opportunities with Barminco are sure to make the most of your ability!
