Registered & Enrolled Nurses – Multiple Roles | Far West NSW
Locations Include: Broken Hill, Balranald, Dareton, Menindee, Wilcannia, White Cliffs, and surrounding district/remote sites
Salary: NSW Health Award + Term Loading and Casual Loading + Travel and Accommodation Support

Job Summary:
Support regional and remote healthcare teams in Far West NSW. Deliver quality nursing care across Emergency, ICU, Dialysis, Mental Health, Surgical, and Generalist settings. Each role is a standalone contract with a defined start date and duration.
Current Opportunities

Broken Hill

• ICU | Nursing Unit Manager
  Contract: 11 August – 11 November 2025
  Classification: NUM2
  Requirements: ICU experience, ventilator competency, ALS, may be required to work on the floor
• Haemodialysis | Registered Nurse
  Contract: 3-month duration starting 4 August 2025
  Requirements: Recent dialysis experience, familiarity with Fresenius 5008S machines
• Surgical Ward | Registered Nurse
  Contract: 3-month duration, ASAP start
  Requirements: Senior RN with surgical ward experience
• MHIPU (Mental Health Inpatient Unit) | Registered Nurse
  Contract: 3-month duration, ASAP start
  Requirements: Recent inpatient mental health experience
• MHDA (Mental Health Drug and Alcohol) | Registered Nurse
  Contract: 3-month duration, ASAP start
  Requirements: Community mental health experience

Dareton

• MHDA (Community Mental Health) | Registered Nurse
  Contract: 3-month duration, ASAP start
  Requirements: Community mental health experience, own vehicle required for local transport

Balranald

• Generalist | Registered Nurse (5 roles)
  Contract: 3-month duration, ASAP start
  Requirements: Emergency/A&E, ALS, Triage certification, Acute and Aged Care, NDIS clearance
• Acute/Aged Care | Enrolled Nurse (5 roles)
  Contract: 3-month duration starting 1 September 2025
  Requirements: Acute and Aged Care experience, NDIS clearance

Menindee

• Generalist | Registered Nurse
  Contract: 3-month duration, ASAP start
  Requirements: A&E, Acute and Aged Care, ALS, Triage certification, In-charge experience

Wilcannia

• Generalist | Registered Nurse
  Contract: 3-month duration, ASAP start
  Requirements: A&E, Acute and Aged Care, ALS, Triage certification

White Cliffs

• Generalist | Registered Nurse
  Contract: 3-month duration, ASAP start
  Requirements: A&E, Acute and Aged Care, ALS, Triage certification, In-charge experience

District / Remote Sites

• Relief Pool | Registered Nurse
  Contract: 3-month duration, ASAP start
  Requirements: A&E, Acute and Aged Care, ALS, Triage certification
  Note: Flexibility to work across multiple locations required

Skills and Experience (General Requirements)

• Current AHPRA registration as RN or EN (depending on role)
• Relevant clinical experience based on specialty
• ALS and Triage certification (for emergency/generalist roles)
• NDIS clearance (required for Balranald roles)
• Valid driver’s licence (essential for Dareton MHDA role)
