The Opportunity

At Mipac as a Senior Control Systems Engineer with demonstrated experience in PCS7, you will get exposure to larger scale projects, have opportunities to travel to international locations (anywhere from Africa, Peru, and / or Canada), and enhance your technical capability through exposure to multiple control systems and diverse projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Control System Design : Design, develop, and implement control systems solutions for mining, mineral processing, and other projects, ensuring they meet engineering standards and client requirements.
  • Technical Proficiency : Use broad knowledge and skills to resolve complex engineering problems.
  • Technical Leadership : Take ownership of control system aspects within projects. Where required, develop, review, and approve project deliverables.
  • Documentation : Independently produce technical documentation including reports, specifications, procedures, and manuals to a high standard.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, project alignment, and successful outcomes.
  • Mentoring : Provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers, fostering their professional growth within the company, including supervising their work.
  • Site and Commissioning Support : Participate in unaccompanied site visits and commissioning activities to ensure control systems operate as intended in real-world environments.
