Personal Care Assistant - Australian Unity (North)

Deliver in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently & remain within their own homes:

• Support Worker Positions available forExperienced applicants
• Permanent Part-Time contractsavailable withhourly rate of $30.60p/h + 11% super
• Travel Allowance of$0.92 per KM PLUS paid travel timebetween clients

Key Requirements:

• Current Australian Drivers License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
• Fully vaccinated minimum 2 doses for Covid-19
• Flexibility to work rosters between 7am to 6pm between Monday to Sunday
• Minimum 12 months experience and/or a Certificate III in Individual Support

Your New Role:

• Help at Home:such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation & assisted dressing
• Social & Wellbeing:accompany clients to appointments & outings
• Safety Practices:such as safe manual handling &driver awareness
• Transport:transportation to appointments, shopping and social outings

To be successful in this role:

• Must have a Current Australian Provisional or Full Drivers licence
• Must have a reliable vehicle Comprehensive Insurance desirable not mandatory
• Must either have a certificate III in Individual Support or 12 months experience working in a similar role or in an Aged Care setting
• Must have received at least 2 doses of the COVID19 Vaccination
