Our client is a well-regarded institutional financial services firm based in Sydney, seeking a Senior FICC Middle Office Analyst to join their dynamic team. This is a broad operations and compliance-focused role, supporting fixed income and money market activity, client onboarding, KYC/AML compliance, settlements, and operational enhancements.

As a core member of the team, you’ll gain direct exposure to senior leadership and high-value institutional clients across the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the firm’s AML/CTF Compliance Officer, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations
• Manage KYC onboarding workflows and Salesforce data management
• Liaise with partner banks, custodians, and ADIs to ensure accurate trade settlement
• Oversee Austraclear settlements, reconciliations, and documentation control
• Drive process improvements and support automation initiatives across middle office operations

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years’ experience in FICC, Fixed Income, or Money Market middle office or onboarding roles
• Strong understanding of institutional onboarding frameworks, AML/CTF/KYC regulations
• Familiarity with Austraclear, custodians, and bond settlements
• Experience with systems such as ALERT, CTM, Salesforce, and ideally OMGEO/DTCC
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams and counterparties
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or Law (preferred)
