Some of our best Optical Dispensers didn't start their careers in optics.
At Leverett & Kindler Optometrists, we've successfully trained our current dispensers internally, and we're open to doing the same again for the right person. While optical experience would certainly be welcomed, we're equally interested in someone who brings confidence, adaptability, and strong people skills.
We're now looking for a part-time Optical Assistant / Dispenser, with weekend availability essential.
The Role
Working in a busy independent practice, you'll support patients throughout their experience. From welcoming them into the practice and assisting with eyewear selection through to dispensing, adjustments, repairs, and administration.
You'll work with people across different age groups, personalities, and needs, so being able to communicate confidently and adapt your approach will be important.

Optical experience isn't essential.
Leverett & Kindler has the experience and capacity to provide comprehensive on-the-job training, so we're happy to consider someone from a strong retail, administration or customer service background who is genuinely interested in learning optics.
