Our menu features house-made pasta, premium steaks, fresh seafood and seasonal Italian-inspired dishes, complemented by a carefully selected wine list of more than 250 Australian and international labels.
The Role We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee Rovollo’s daily operations and lead our front of house team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, coordinating restaurant operations and ensuring guests receive a professional and memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the restaurant’s daily operations
- Coordinate service between the front of house, bar and kitchen teams
- Supervise, train and support restaurant staff
- Prepare staff rosters and allocate duties
- Monitor the quality of food, beverages and customer service
- Speak with guests and respond professionally to feedback or complaints
- Manage reservations, table arrangements, functions and special events
- Monitor stock levels and arrange orders with suppliers
- Assist with restaurant budgets, operating costs and financial records
- Process payments and monitor daily cash handling procedures
- Ensure the restaurant is clean, properly presented and ready for service
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements
- Work with senior management to improve service standards and business performance
About You
- Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Previous experience managing a restaurant or similar hospitality venue
- Strong leadership and staff supervision skills
- Good knowledge of restaurant operations, food and beverage service and cost control
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Professional presentation and strong attention to detail
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

- AUD $90,000–$120,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience
