Child and Family Practitioner | Family Intervention Service | Underwood

  • Employment Term : Full-Time, Maximum Term to end June 2026, (76 hours per fortnight)
  • Location : Underwood
  • Remuneration : From $51 per hour + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

In This Role You’ll

  • Work intensively with families in their homes to address issues related to child protection concerns.
  • Provide negotiated combinations of therapeutic interventions, practical and emotional support, counselling and education, offering families opportunities to make informed decisions and change for their future.

    • What makes a difference for us?

  • A tertiary qualification (minimum Bachelor Degree) in a relevant human services field with relevant experience; registration with a nationally recognised professional body is desirable.
  • Demonstrated skills and sound knowledge gained through experience working with children and families.
  • Be able to achieve results through personal proficiency and demonstrate high‑quality technical or professional work.
  • Experience in the area of child protection is preferred.
  • Blue Card.
  • Current Driver’s Licence.
