• Salary range – $236,117 – $313,920 p.a. (pro rata) + Saturday penalty rates

Danila Dilba Health Service (DDHS) is a leading Aboriginal community-controlled organisation providing culturally safe, comprehensive primary health care across the Greater Darwin region.

We’re seeking an experienced and passionate General Practitioner to join our team for Saturday clinics (8:00am–1:00pm). This role is ideal for an independent, motivated practitioner who values teamwork, cultural safety and delivering high-quality care. Click here to learn more about DDHS.

About the role:
You’ll provide culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care to clients attending Saturday clinics. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to the delivery of best-practice services that reflect DDHS’s commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

About you:
You are a confident and compassionate GP who is committed to equity in healthcare and thrives in a collaborative, cross-cultural environment.

What you need to apply?

• Current registration as a General Practitioner with AHPRA

• Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• High standard of written and computer literacy

Desirable:

• Experience in Indigenous or Northern Territory primary health care

• Supervisory experience with GP registrars

• Familiarity with Communicare

• Knowledge of Medicare and Practice Incentive Programs

• Understanding of Aboriginal Health Worker career structures
