About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Logistics Officer to join us out at Iron Bridge on a 8 / 6 Days Only roster. Reporting to the Planning and Warehouse Supervisor, you will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality solutions and results.
Key Responsibilities :
Freight & Logistics :
- Track urgent orders and freight movements to ensure timely delivery
- Consolidate freight where possible to reduce costs
- Manage incoming freight : check against manifests and update relevant registers
- Manage outgoing freight and backloads, including preparing D / G paperwork
Update registers such as : Component Core Register
A / C Bottle Register
Grease Register
Track Register
Rebuilt Components Register
Inventory :
Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies between shelf and system levelsSupport housekeeping auditsConduct routine system checks and balancesAdministration :
Assist the accounts team with APWF and related tasks as neededNotify relevant stakeholders upon receipt of urgent or critical ordersAbout you
Extensive knowledge of warehousing and logistics within a mine site environmentExceptional organisational, communication and time management skillsStrong problem-solving skills to handle stakeholder complaints and solving business problemsJDE software experience and proficient in the use of Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)Forklift High Risk licenceWhat Thiess can do for you
