We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to join the Business Development & Marketing team. This role is responsible for the planning, coordination and end-to-end delivery of internal and external events.

This role oversees the full events program, ensuring all functions are well executed, cost effective and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and coordinating client and staff events, including managing guest lists, venues and facilities, briefing vendors and suppliers, and preparing post-event analysis.
• Managing event delivery on the day, ensuring all events run smoothly and proactively resolving any issues that arise.
• Developing and implementing promotional activities to maximise event awareness and engagement.
• Preparing, managing and tracking event budgets, ensuring costs are monitored and approvals are obtained as required.
• Sourcing, negotiating with and managing relationships with new and existing vendors and suppliers.
• Reporting on event performance, with a focus on attendance, feedback insights and recommended follow-up activities.

• Proven experience working in a similar role in a professional services environment
• Significant experience in event planning and coordination
• Familiarity working in professional services or law firm is advantageous
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Flexibility to work out of office hours if needed
