About The Role
You will play a crucial role in providing tailored support, empowering clients to achieve their personal goals through meaningful activities both at home and within the community. Your ability to approach each situation with understanding and adaptability will make a lasting impact on the lives of those you support.
Your role will include:
- Reading and understanding client plans to provide best practice support
- Implementing and working towards client goals to increase and approve their capacity
- Supporting clients with personal care and hygiene
- Performing household tasks including menu planning, cooking, and cleaning
- Supporting clients to access and be a part of their local community
- Being creative to engage clients at every part of the day and seeking opportunities to do so
About you
- Solid experience in supporting clients with challenging behaviours and complex care needs is essential.
- Ability to work as part of a team and well as individually.
- Willingness to support clients with personal care, cooking and cleaning.
- Ability to think outside the box and adapt tasks to engage clients.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to use technology and have access to a smart phone.

Successful applicants will require a current NSW Drivers Licence and First Aid Certificate. The offer will be subject to a police clearance, a pre-employment medical, proof of work rights and a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
