Personal Care Attendant

The Opportunity

Peregian Springs Country Club offers resort-style retirement living in a peaceful, leafy setting just minutes from Peregian Beach and a short drive to Noosa. With wonderful amenities, a vibrant social scene, and support available when needed, it's a place where residents truly feel at home. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality personal care, social support and daily assistance to residents within their Aveo home. Our Personal Care Attendants have a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building social connection and assisting with day-to-day tasks.

This is a permanent part time role working the following Roster:

Week 1: Thursday (2:30pm-7:00pm)

Week 2: Thursday (2:30pm-7:00pm) and a split shift Saturday (07:00am-1:00pm) followed by (3:30pm-7:00pm)

Your Impact

• Work independently within resident units to provide in-home support including personal hygiene, medication, house cleaning, laundry and more!
• Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.g driving them to appointments or light exercise)
• Provide care, tailored to the resident's needs in line with their current care plans
• Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date
• Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents

What you'll bring

• Experience as a Support Worker or a Home Care Worker, with a passion for community care, independence and wellbeing
• Friendly, adaptable and proactive attitude, with a passion for being part of a community environment
• Strong communication skills, with a genuine ability to build meaningful connections with residents
• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required)
• Valid driver’s licence + vehicle (required)
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate (required)

What we offer

• Weekday Rate: $36.23/hr + superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
• Saturday Rate: $54.35/hr + superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
