Job Description
We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling, interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector, Liverpool NSW.
In this diverse role, you will have the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day, with support from a close team of healthcare professionals and the resources of a global corporate infrastructure. You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with physical and psychological conditions and support them to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Case management (caseloads are manageable; Rehabilitation Assistants support administrative tasks)
- Apply clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes
- Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees
- Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
- Work across schemes such as workers compensation, CTP, life insurance, Comcare, DVA, and employer-funded injury prevention
- Assist clients to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes
- Complete a variety of assessments (initial, workplace, vocational) to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers, and identify suitable employment opportunities

Qualifications
- Prior experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is preferred
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences or Rehabilitation Counselling
- General or Provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with ASORC
- Strong communication skills and empathy
- Effective time management abilities
- Current NSW Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
