Policies and resources have been developed to support the use of Aboriginal cultural knowledge in projects, business or activities across the department.
The Healthy Country team is seeking to appoint a Team Leader, Community Partnerships to lead the implementation and delivery of several projects and initiatives that require working across government and with Aboriginal Communities to achieve community aspirations and Healthy Country program outcomes.
The candidate must be able to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met. Managing responses to a diverse group of stakeholders, within agreed timelines, given their varying expectations, viewpoints, and interests, is one of the key challenges for this role.
This is an Aboriginal Identified role where Aboriginal identity, cultural knowledge or connections are a genuine aspect of the role. Positions are specifically noted under the provisions of the NSW Anti-discrimination Act (1977).
