Several valuable opportunities await in Strategy, Policy, and Industry (SP&I) Group's Corporate Management and Strategic Policy Outreach teams for public servants who are prepared to execute some of the most vital administrative functions in our organisation.
As a member of either the Corporate Management or the Strategic Policy Outreach team, your responsibilities would place you squarely in the eye of the storm, either supporting corporate business across all sections of SP&I Group or the administration of Defence's strategic policy grants across all phases of the grants lifecycle (open, apply, select, execute, monitor and manage, evaluate and close).

For the corporate management roles, your responsibilities would include :
Supporting SP&I's planning and performance to ensure strategy, capability and resources are aligned with Government direction to achieve intended results and outcomes.Shaping, developing and implementing policy related to key corporate functions such as risk management, business continuity, security, safety, audit, and fraud.Engaging and negotiating with stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.Taking the initiative to progress work to meet business objectives, and providing advice and guidance on more complex issues.For the Strategic Policy Outreach roles, your responsibilities would include :
Providing high quality support to ensure effective delivery of the Program in line with the Commonwealth Grant Rules and Guidelines (2017).Researching and analysing documents and data to provide input to program-related briefings, presentations, advice and other correspondence.Driving the collection of project and program information to meet corporate reporting requirements; for example, Senate Estimates briefs.Developing and maintaining effective internal and external stakeholder relationship to foster collaboration.A successful SP&I Corporate Management and Strategic Outreach Officer will :
