Our client is looking for a newly graduate occupational therapist to work on a community-based role in Brisbane / Melbourne, Australia.
The role involves working with a community-based team, providing a range of allied health services to people of all ages and abilities across Australia. Services are delivered through multiple delivery models, including telehealth, community visits, and office-based services.
Job Role :
- Using evidence-based and best practices to assess and provide interventions for children and adults living with a range of abilities to maximise function, capacity, and social engagement.
- Working with a varied caseload, including different ages and presentations, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), Psychosocial Disability, and Physical Disabilities.
- Assisting clients with assistive technology assessment, recommendations, and applications.
- Working within different funding schemes and models, predominantly within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
- Meeting company professional expectations, including invoicing accuracy, billable hours, case list management, communication, and documentation.
- Attending meetings, supervision, and PD as required, and building relationships with key stakeholders associated with the business.

Relevant Tertiary Qualification.First Aid (desirable, EP required).NDIS Worker Orientation Module.Company Induction.Essential Requirements :
