  • Unley Physiotherapy is looking for its newest Exercise Physiologists (new graduates are welcome to apply) with a drive to develop their skills in a supported environment. What makes us unique is our highly experienced Multi D team, our all access all abilities disability friendly gym and having a varied case load.
  • We are looking for
  • Immediate part time start to increase to full time hours if desired with a varied case load of in clinic, classes, home vits and hydro.
  • 2 years experience or new graduates with relevant experience are welcome to apply
  • A clinician who is desired to have a varied case load of in clinic, home visits and hydrotherapy.
  • Current ESSA registration
  • Motivated, driven individual
  • An EP who is willing to bring new ideas to continue growing the clinic.

  • About the Job

    • We are looking for an Exercise Physiologist to support the growth of Unley Physiotherapy following the opening of our Empower Gym in 2024.

    The key roles of the Exercise Physiologist will be the following :

    • Conducting initial and review assessments, and providing clinical based interventions in individual and group-based sessions.
    • Varied case load of prescribing exercise for gym based, home visit and hydrotherapy services.
    • Clinical report writing and documentation for various schemes
    • Being involved in meeting and planning in our Multi
    • D team.
    • Developing new EP projects with supervision of our Senior EP
    • Registration via ESSA (Exercise sports science Australia) as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist.
    • Working with children check, vulnerable people and NDIS check.

      • Unley Physiotherapy is a family-owned South Australian business that has grown from providing mainly Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy to adding a large Neurological Physiotherapy team, Exercise Physiology, Allied Health Assistants, Home Visits and Remedial Massage Therapy to our diverse services. We are a dynamic and innovative practice focused on providing the best possible evidence-based services.

      We run Sport related exercise classes, Exercise Physiology exercise classes, Neuro specific exercise classes and Hydrotherapy classes. We are a registered NDIS provider.

    • We have a new purpose-built rehab and high-performance gym, with state of the art equipment, all abilities all access. We work within a Neuro and Musculoskeletal and Exercise Physiology multi-disciplinary team to provide a service that
    • emphasises inclusivity, creating a supportive exercise community for all. We strive to make our consultations timely, appropriate and effective and provide positive long-term solutions.

      • Pay : $31.29 - $40.00 per hour

      Expected hours : 30 - 38 per week
