Senior Solicitor

• Give expert legal advice to the organisation and senior leaders on industry regulation, investigations and enforcement
• Support regulatory investigations and enforcement action, including disciplinary matters and prosecutions
• Represent the organisation in VCAT, the Magistrates' Court and other legal proceedings when needed
• Prepare and review important legal documents such as notices, delegations, contracts and official correspondence
• Contribute to policy work, training, projects and mentoring within the legal team

A successful Senior Solicitor should have:

• 5+ years post admission experience
• Previous experience in a Victorian Government regulator
• Strong knowledge of administrative law and statutory interpretation
• Experience advising on investigations, enforcement action or litigation
• Proven ability to manage complex matters in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to work confidently with senior and diverse stakeholders
