About our clients

We have two Management Accountant roles available-

One is with a medium sized product based business based in Knoxfield for a 6 month contract with potential for extension and permanency. Ideally you would have experience in manufacturing, product-based, consumer good businesses with some exposure to cost and inventory control.

The other is with a small professional services business based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne close to public transport for a 3 month contract, with potential for extension / perm or can be a stand alone short term contract if you are on a working holiday visa. This role requires advanced PowerBi experience as well as Power Query and DAX experience. Open to level with this role - could be a Senior Management Accountant or Senior FP&A. Open to those on a Working Holiday Visa.

About the role

Both roles-

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis. Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.
  • Conduct cost analysis and help identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare financial reports for internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Monitor financial performance by measuring actual results against budget and forecast including cashflow forecasting.
  • Provide financial insight and analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with departments to gather financial data and provide analysis.

About you

Management Accountant role #1 - Product based business in Knoxfield

  • Background in product based business - consumer goods, manufacturing, retail, wholesale, fmcg.
  • Mix of management accountant, financial analysis as well as costing / inventory control.
  • CPA qualified or working towards.

    • Management Accountant role #2 - Professional services in inner suburbs close to Public Transport

  • Mix of strong management accounting and FP&A.
  • Advanced skills in PowerBi, DAX and Power Query as well as Excel - REQUIRED .
  • Open to experience level - could come in as a Senior Management Accountant / FP&A on the short term.
  • CA / CPA qualified.
  • Open to those on a Working Holiday Visa.
