Forest , is our restaurant set overlooking a lush, tropical rainforest. The menu reflects our unique sense of place, with over 80% of our ingredients sourced within a three-hour drive. We believe that food is best enjoyed slowly and to share, with a bottle of locally sourced wine or vibrant cocktail in hand.

THE ROLE :

We are seeking a new Bar Supervisor to work alongside a passionate and supportive hotel team, reporting to the Restaurant Manager your passion is cocktails, and you know your way around a drinks menu. You will assist in leading the team and creating a bar experience that keeps our guest wanting more.

You will collaborate with our guests by :

  • Creating an outstanding employment experience for the bar team and guests
  • Providing a warm and genuine service experience
  • Anticipating and responding to tricky requests & concerns in a professional and timely manner and coaching your team to do the same.
  • Taking an active interest in providing on-the-job coaching and training to the Drink guides.

ABOUT YOU :

We are looking for a skilled and ambitious bar supervisor who can display :

  • Considerable experience in premium bar environments.
  • Previous bar supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated passion for the hospitality industry and speciality in high quality service.
  • Great attention to detail, being one step ahead of guests needs.
  • In-depth knowledge of sequence of service and product knowledge.
  • The passion to take on other ad-hoc duties as required
  • Ability to prioritise & work in fast-paced environment being able to keep high standards of service.
  • Friendly and confident communication skills.
  • NSW RSA essential
  • Available across various shifts including weekends, evenings and public holidays
  • Able to commit for a minimum of 12 months
