The Apprentice will be trained and perform tasks within the relevant Industrial Spray Painter trade whilst assisting the qualified tradespeople on a daytoday basis. Through the course of their apprenticeship the apprentice will develop expertise in FLS products and equipment.

Your responsibilities
Complete required OH&S reporting including Take 5s JHAs safety inspections and incident reporting
Preparing surfaces for painting using a variety of techniques such as abrasive blasting highpressure water cleaning and hand tool cleaning.
Applying industrial coatings and paints to a range of surfaces and in accordance with a variety of specifications.
Maintaining and cleaning all equipment to keep it in good working order.
Prime and Paint equipment with precision.
Compliance with responsibilities relating to the terms of the training contract as an apprentice (training attendance & attaining of competencies)
Completion of all allocated work as part of the on the job training supplied by FLS
Adhere to all legislative requirements and to other companies policies and / or procedures
Always Represent FLS Pty Ltd in a positive and responsible manner
Any other duties as reasonably directed by your supervisor
What you bring
Ability to take and carry out instructions and direction under supervision from Manager Supervisor or Qualified Trades personnel
Interest in a manufacturing and Spray Painting environment
Stong attention to detail
Successful completion of a TAFE Pre Apprenticeship course or full completion of Year 12 with a pass grade in Mathematics English and Industrial TechnologyRelated subjects
Current Manual Car Drivers License
High level of physical fitness to perform the job requirements
Team player able to interface positively with all team members
