Gym Attendant – Defence Site (Kapooka Military Area, Wagga)

Casual | $32.25 per hour (includes 25% casual loading)

Australian Citizenship Required

We're looking for energetic and motivated Gym Attendants to join our Defence team at the Kapooka Military Area (Blamey Barracks) in Wagga.

About The Role

You'll supervise Defence gym facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members. Working alongside Defence Physical Training Instructors (PTIs), your role includes :

Opening / closing duties and equipment checksSupporting new members with facility orientationMonitoring equipment use and assisting with set-upReporting maintenance issues and safety concernsProviding excellent customer service and upholding site protocols

About You

1+ year in a similar role (preferred)Cert III Fitness and Pool Lifeguard Cert highly MandatoryEnergetic with a positive, customer-focused attitudeCurrent Senior First Aid & Resuscitation Certificate

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to :

Undergo a pre-employment medicalUndergo a National Police ClearanceReference checking
