Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mining Maintenance Estimator to join our client's team in Kalgoorlie. This key role will see you play an essential part in tender preparation, cost estimation, and project planning for maintenance and shutdown projects across both fixed and mobile plant equipment.

You will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed cost estimates, identifying project risks, and working closely with both operations and procurement teams to ensure the viability and competitiveness of the projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare detailed cost estimates for maintenance and shutdown projects
Review tender documentation and develop scope of work and pricing structures
Collaborate with the operations and procurement teams to ensure project viability
Identify and assess potential project risks
Ensure all estimates align with project requirements and industry standards

Requirements :

Proven experience in estimating for mining maintenance or shutdowns

A trade background or relevant engineering qualification is highly regarded

Strong understanding of mobile and / or fixed plant maintenance

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
