About the role

Passionate Disability Support Workers required for our female only Supported Accommodation Home located in Lilydale. The DSW will provide high-quality person-centred care to our residents living with a disability, empowering them to live the life of their choice in a residential setting.

This is a part time role. You must be available to work am shifts 6.00/6.30 – 9.00/9.30am, afternoon shifts and sleepovers weekdays and some weekend shifts also. The shift details will be provided to short listed candidates.

About you

You will be experienced working in an accommodation setting supporting residents with a disability and behaviours. You will be joining a friendly, passionate team to support clients to live a life of their choosing.

Role requirements

• Certificate IV Individual Support or Disability
• Previous experience in Disability Support and knowledge of the Disability sector
• Passion for providing ‘person centred care’
• Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Current full Victorian Driver licence
• NDIS Check, WWC and Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
• Ability to work a roster weekday, weekends, morning, afternoon, and sleepover shifts.
