LifeHealthcare is seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team based in Macquarie Park. In this role, you will lead the delivery of accurate financial reporting, strong governance over assets and inventory, and effective audit, compliance, and internal control processes to support sound commercial decision‑making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for producing timely and accurate financial information
• Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
• Capital expenditure and fixed assets management
• Timely and accurate reporting of monthly and periodic performance reports
• Accurate reporting of COGS and related variances and inventories
• Provide value adding analysis with regard to inventory management and control
• Provide effective control over capital expenditure and fixed assets
• Ensure Balance Sheet reconciliations are prepared on a timely manner to ensure that requirements of accounting standards are met at all times
• Develop a constructive working environment within and outside the finance department
• Ensure that company is compliant with taxation regulations
• Ensure congruency in reporting between the GL, Qlikview and statutory reports
• Prepare audit files, other audit requirements and effectively liaise with the auditors
• Ensure proper documentation of internal controls
