Reporting to the Branch Manager, this Counter Sales/Storeperson role is responsible for delivering efficient, high-quality customer service to a diverse customer base, while supporting in the warehouse with day-to-day operations.

Permanent position Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm, no Saturdays.

Key responsibilities:

• Provision of customer service, including effectively actioning customer requests and enquiries.
• Counter sales, including the promotion of an extensive and diverse product set.
• Actioning customer requests and enquiries face to face, over the phone and via email.
• Liaising with suppliers.
• Stock control, including re-stocking shelves and packing orders.
• General warehousing duties as required.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• You have previous experience in the Fastener, Industrial and Construction Supply Industries.
• You’re a driven and passionate professional with experience working in a sales or customer-facing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, so your ability to build relationships and establish rapport is second to none.
• Client-focused and a real team player, you are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and providing the best solutions for your clients.
• You are excellent at managing your own time and a real self-starter.
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately).
