3 x Electrical Roles across Switching, Overhead & Ground:
Energising safer, more reliable electricity networks through a strong safety culture, collaborative teams, and a commitment to continuous improvement. We operate a regulated electricity network (distribution and transmission) and collaborate with ENA and DNSPs to implement best-practice electrical works, seeking safety-minded professionals who can translate complex standards into practical, field-ready procedures.
Overhead We are seeking an Electrical Works Engineer with a strong emphasis on overhead distribution/transmission activities to develop and implement robust overhead works practices and competency verification. In this role, you’ll translate complex standards into practical, field-ready procedures, design and drive Inspection Test Plans, and lead investigations to identify root causes and preventive actions. You’ll apply core regulatory requirements, Energy Networks Australia standards, and organizational policies while coaching teams across field and office environments to adopt safe, high-quality overhead practices. You’ll use tools to monitor compliance, communicate performance and risks to leadership, and collaborate with industry bodies to trial safer, more productive methods.
Switching We are seeking an Electrical Works Engineer focused on switching activities to design, implement, and govern safe switching procedures and assurance processes. You’ll develop and communicate works practice instructions for switching, secure appropriate authorisations, and ensure safe field switching practices through every lifecycle stage. Your role includes creating and validating ITPs, conducting audits and incident investigations, and translating technical standards into clear, plain-English guidance for frontline teams. You’ll leverage monitoring tools to drive improvements, engage with ENA, DNSPs, and industry bodies to adopt best practices, and coach teams to consistently apply safe, high-quality switching across operations.
Ground We are seeking an Electrical Works Engineer with expertise in ground-based distribution/transmission activities to establish and sustain ground-focused works practices and competency verification. You’ll design practical ground-based procedures, implement comprehensive ITPs, and lead investigations to address root causes and actionable recommendations. You’ll ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies, translate complex standards into field-ready procedures, and train the workforce to execute safe, high-quality ground operations. You’ll monitor performance using relevant tools, participate in incident investigations, and collaborate with industry peers to adopt safer, more productive ground-based methods.
