Our Client
Our client is a growing and well-established organisation experiencing continued success and expansion. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys a diverse role across accounts receivable, credit, banking, and reconciliations while working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. This is a full-time office-based position offering the chance to join a collaborative, supportive, and people-focused team environment.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Credit Manager, this role includes but is not limited to:

  • Managing daily banking and receipting activities
  • Processing and allocating payments
  • Completing bank reconciliations
  • Setting up and maintaining customer accounts
  • Conducting credit checks and assisting with credit limit reviews
  • Monitoring customer accounts and investigating discrepancies
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting reporting requirements
  • Assisting with the administration of receivables and related processes
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders regarding account queries
  • Assisting with month-end activities and ad hoc finance tasks as required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Strong experience with payment allocation, receipting, and reconciliations
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • A positive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and contribute
