About headspace:
headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds, along with assistance in promoting young peoples’ wellbeing. This covers core areas including mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services. Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) is the lead agency for headspace Bairnsdale and Sale, which is governed by a consortium of local community organisations who provide expertise, support and advice to RAV.
About the role
Reporting to Centre Manager, your responsibilities include supporting the Centre Manager in the day-to-day leadership and operations, ensuring services are delivered effectively and align with organisational and funding requirements. The role involves overseeing service delivery, supporting staff performance and development, and contributing to a high standard of integrated, youth-focused care. You will also be responsible for working collaboratively with key stakeholders, supporting administrative and operational functions, contributing to policy and tender development.
This role is located at Sale and is permanent, part-time (0.6FTE) working three (3) days per week with Tuesday evening shift. The base salary range is $125,901 - $129,450 (pro-rata) per annum.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in management, psychology, social work, social science, or related fields.
- Several years’ experience in a leadership or management role within multidisciplinary or community services.
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills with problem-solving ability and understanding of the Australian mental health and primary care system.
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
