Procurement Specialist

Procurement Specialist - 12-Month Contract.

We have an exciting opportunity within our Procurement team. We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Sydney team on a 12-month contract.

The purpose of this role is to provide operational support to the procurement function, ensuring efficient, compliant, and timely purchasing across the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the approval flow for Procurement tickets through the intake system and providing updates to internal stakeholders
• Assisting in vendor onboarding, offboarding and ongoing management in systems
• Handling exceptions to invoice matching, and liaising with Finance/AP teams
• Assisting with ZIP integrations with Finance/other systems
• Assisting with commercial discussions on new engagements and renewal of contracts
• Assisting with identifying value improvements in spend categories
• Developing and maintaining solid working relationships with key stakeholders
• Data analysis and review of existing contracts and financial records for discrepancies or non-compliance with processes

What you will bring to the role:

• 4+ experience in procurement/contract administration
• Experience dealing with SaaS, Technology, IT Hardware/Software Agreements preferred.
• Contract review and reporting analysis experience.
• Experience dealing with third parties and suppliers/vendors.
• Sound knowledge of procurement and contracting principles.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to consider the commercial outcome(s) of a decision.
