An excellent opportunity is available for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join a well-established multidisciplinary mental health service at Manning Base Hospital within the Hunter New England Local Health District.

You will work alongside experienced Consultant Psychiatrists, junior medical staff, nurses, and allied health professionals, delivering high-quality care to consumers and their families across the Lower Mid North Coast region of New South Wales.

Adult inpatient mental health services are delivered at Manning Hospital, with community mental health services supporting patients throughout the region.



This position offers the chance to:

* Provide **specialist psychiatric assessment and treatment**
* Work within a **collaborative multidisciplinary team**
* Contribute to **teaching and supervision of junior medical staff**
* Deliver care across **inpatient and community mental health services**
* Help support and shape mental health services in a growing regional community



Applicants must have:

Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists
* Eligibility for **Specialist Registration with AHPRA**
* Candidates **within 6 months of achieving Fellowship** are encouraged to apply
