About the opportunity
The Maintenance Serviceperson is part of the Arden Homes Maintenance Team and reports to the Maintenance Manager. In this highly rewarding role, you will be responsible for carrying out Service and Warranty inspections and rectification work. More specifically, you will:
• Conducting inspections of new homes and compiling a report on any identified defects
• Communicating with clients on actions according to Service and Warranty guidelines
• Complete general maintenance and warranty work from the defect list to highest quality
• Assisting with the monitoring of contractor progress and following up outstanding works from our trades and contractors as needed
• Manage van supplies and ensure sufficient stock levels, ordering and picking up materials as required

About you
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:
• A trade background, preferably carpentry for example, tiling, plastering, painting etc
• Strong Customer service skills to communicate with clients and various teams to provide information and updates on maintenance works
• An ability to prioritise effectively whilst ensuring exceptional attention to detail
• Willingness to travel to and from jobs as scheduled
• Competent computer and reporting skills
• A positive attitude with the ability to work by yourself and within a team
• A full driver’s licence to operate a service van
