The opportunity
Whyalla Hospital & Health Services (WHHS) is a modern 75-bed general hospital as part of the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network offering a wide range of services offered by local general practitioners and specialists. Medical services include general medicine, general and orthopaedic surgery (Monday morning to Friday 5 pm), 24-hour GP led emergency, level 3 maternity service and gynaecology, integrated mental health unit, subacute rehabilitation unit as well as renal dialysis and various visiting specialist outpatient services and day surgery.

Located on Eyre Peninsula’s Spencer Gulf in South Australia, Whyalla is an important hub and the region’s biggest city for retail shopping. Boasting a warm climate, accessible ocean shores and saltwater fishing, this location represents South Australia’s foremost combination of industrial and nature-based experiences.
