Permanent VR GP Opportunity – DPA

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our new GP clinic, co-located with a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, in a vibrant coastal hub on the Great Ocean Road, just three hours from Melbourne. This is a DPA, MM3 location and may be suitable for GPs under the 10-year moratorium.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver patient-focused primary and urgent care following best-practice clinical standards.

• Collaborate with the Practice Manager and multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, high-quality care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and meet RACGP and Medicare requirements.

• Participate in continuous quality improvement, innovation, and risk management.

• Support patients in making informed healthcare decisions.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance clinical skills.

What We’re Looking For:

• FRACGP or FACRRM or equivilent

• Experience in general practice, urgent care, community health, or emergency medicine.

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.

• Proficiency with Practice Management Software (e.g., Best Practice).

• Knowledge of clinical governance frameworks and Medicare billing processes.
