Flavours on Charcoal is a Brazilian barbecue restaurant located on the Gold Coast, specialising in authentic charcoal-grilled dishes inspired by traditional Brazilian cuisine. Our business operates two restaurant venues, both offering a vibrant dining experience focused on high-quality ingredients, traditional cooking techniques, and excellent customer service.
We are seeking a full-time Cook to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional who is passionate about preparing and delivering high-quality dishes. This position is a full-time, ongoing role within our kitchen team, supporting the continued operation and growth of the restaurant.
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have:
At least one year of full-time (or equivalent) work experience in the same or a similar position; and
A relevant AQF Certificate III or Certificate IV qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
The following skills and experience will be highly regarded:
Experience preparing Brazilian-style cuisine or South American barbecue dishes;
Experience working with charcoal grills and open-flame cooking techniques;
Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
The salary on offer is $70,000 – $80,000 per year (depending on skills, qualifications and experience) plus superannuation.
