We are looking for an Ophthalmic Product Specialist to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting eye care professionals. Based in Brisbane, this role will support our valued customer base throughout Metro and Regional Queensland.

This exciting field-based role offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading ophthalmic and optometry equipment while building strong partnerships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, hospitals, clinics, and allied healthcare professionals. You'll have the autonomy to manage your territory, drive business growth, and make a genuine impact on customer success. Collaborating with our Service and Operations teams, you will provide expert product support, build strong customer partnerships, and drive sales growth

Your Responsibilites

• Promote and sell a comprehensive range of ophthalmic and optometry instruments and solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and territory development.
• Deliver product demonstrations, training, and expert advice tailored to customer needs.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets while delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  

About You

• Proven success in a sales role, ideally within the ophthalmic, optometry, medical device, or healthcare industry, or experience working in an ophthalmic or optometry environment with a desire to transition into a sales career..
• Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to identify and convert business opportunities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• A customer-focused approach with the ability to influence and consult with healthcare professionals.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working autonomously in a field-based environment.
• Computer skills, including experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• A current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Queensland.
• Adaptable and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
