📍 Location – Located within Bendigo’s established retail area, this store is part of a well-frequented shopping precinct with a steady flow of local customers. It’s easy to access by car, with convenient parking available, and is also supported by nearby public transport options. Surrounded by a mix of retailers, cafés and takeaway spots, the location offers a comfortable and practical setting for day-to-day work and breaks.

🕒 Roster– Thursday–Friday 2:45pm–5:45pm | Saturday 11:00am–3:00pm

About the Role

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, fostering a positive shopping experience, and supporting new and expectant parents on their journey. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and thrives in a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• 💬 Customer Engagement – Connect with and understand the needs of new and expectant parents, providing personalised assistance and product recommendations.
• 🛍 Product Demonstration – Guide customers through product features and benefits, ensuring they make informed choices.
• 📦 Stock Management – Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure the store is well-presented and organised.
• ⏰ Flexible Scheduling – Work a rotating roster of flexible shifts across weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

About You

You’re a proactive and approachable individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You have a genuine passion for helping others and delivering exceptional customer service.

What you bring to the team

• ✅ Prior Customer Service Experience.
• ✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• ✅ High Standards in customer service and store presentation.
• ✅ Proficient in calming irate customers and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
• ✅ Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 15kgs between floor and shoulder, 10kgs above shoulder height. Ability to wear a headset to communicate with the team on the shop floor. Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
