Sureway's National Contact Centre is looking for a Contact Centre Consultant to join our team at our Wagga Wagga Head Office. You'll be the friendly, professional voice on the other end of the phone for people right across the country, supporting our colleagues and the communities we serve.

The skills you've built dealing with customers face to face (staying patient under pressure, solving problems on the spot, juggling a dozen things at once) translate really well here. The difference is you'll be doing it from a desk, on the phone, with full training provided on our systems and processes. No industry experience needed, just the right attitude and a genuine interest in helping people.

What you'll be doing

• Answering inbound calls and managing enquiries
• Booking appointments and managing calendars
• Handling email enquiries
• Completing routine admin tasks tied to our contracts
• Supporting our frontline teams with a range of other tasks as needed

What we're looking for

• Someone who's dealt with the public and knows how to stay calm, respectful, and solution-focused, even when things get tense
• Strong listening skills and the ability to communicate clearly
• Comfortable learning new systems and performing efficient, accurate data entry
• Reliable, adaptable, and happy working in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have, but not essential

• Experience in a call centre or high-volume admin role
• Background in employment services, disability support, or social services (we'll train you on this)
• Ability to speak more than one language, or experience working with diverse communities

Hours that work for you

Shifts are rostered within our 8am–7pm operating window, and most consultants work five days with a mix of shift starts. Once you're through the process, our Team Leader will work with you to find a pattern that suits, especially if you have particular needs around hours. Part-time arrangements are also available for the right candidate.
