Job Description
- Develop and implement social procurement strategies in alignment with organisational goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and onboard socially responsible suppliers.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure adherence to ethical and sustainable practices.
- Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the supply chain.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on procurement outcomes and impact.
- Stay informed on trends and best practices in social procurement and the Technology & Telecoms industry.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies and regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on social procurement practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Social Procurement Lead should have:
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the Technology & Telecoms industry.
- A strong understanding of social procurement principles, particularly for indigenous suppliers, and sustainable supply chain practices.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent analytical and reporting abilities.
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to driving positive social and environmental outcomes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, supply chain, business, or a related field.
