The Bureau of Meteorology are seeking a Senior Microsoft Power Apps Application Developer who has experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Designing and developing Power Apps to support FWIN business processes
- Implementing Dataverse as the primary data store for FWIN records
- Designing and configuring Power Automate flows to support data validation, workflow automation, and notifications
- Migrating existing data from SharePoint Lists to Dataverse
- Ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout the migration process
- Applying appropriate security roles, permissions, and governance controls
- Collaborating with business users to refine requirements and iterate solutions
- Producing clear technical and operational documentation, including:
o Data model and solution design
o Application configuration
o Support and maintenance requirements - Delivering user training, knowledge transfer, and hyper-care support following deployment
Technical skills required but not limited to:
- Experience developing Microsoft Power Apps canvas/model driven apps and Power Automate flows
- Consulting skills such as solution architecture design, and stakeholder management
- Experience implementing governance policies for applications and data within Dataverse
- Strong communication skills for collaborating across internal teams
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimise performance of complex workflows, application and data connections
- Foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365 Platform

- Technical capabilities in the development of Microsoft Power Apps & foundational knowledge of the Microsoft 365 Platform.
- Strong communication skills.
- Consulting skills such as solution architecture design, and stakeholder management.
