About the role
As a Senior Accountant or Manager at Byfields, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services to our valued agribusiness clients, based in our Belmont, WA office. You'll work closely with clients to provide tailored tax strategies, compliance, and business advice, while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the growth of our practice. You’ll have the autonomy to manage client relationships and the support to expand your leadership skills in a collaborative environment.
What we’re looking for
You're a detail-focused, team-oriented professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proactive mindset. You’re ready to hit the ground running while also continuing to grow.
- Solid Australian tax expertise, with a thorough understanding of current regulations
- A keen interest in, or previous experience within the agriculture sector is highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to build lasting client relationships
- Experience as a manager or strong experience as a senior accountant, ideally with a clear pathway to a manager role
- A commitment to professional growth and a team-oriented mindset
- CPA or CA qualifications with solid Public Practice experience
- A genuine interest in agribusiness and regional clients
- Must hold legal working rights in Australia
