The successful candidate will join the Operating Theatre department as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) – Floor Coordinator, a role vital to the seamless operation of the perioperative floor. Tasked with coordinating patient flow and mentoring clinical staff, the clinician will ensure that safety and excellence remain the standard within this high-growth environment, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities that include onsite radiology, pathology, and cardiac catheterisation labs.

This position is offered on a Full Time or Permanent Part Time basis, providing long-term stability within a private hospital setting. Remuneration is highly competitive, with rates and classifications strictly aligned with the Healthe Care (NSW Hospitals) and NSWNMA/ANMF NSW Branch Enterprise Agreement 2022. Requirements and Role Expectations
Professional Registration: Must hold current AHPRA registration and demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care.
Clinical Experience: A minimum of five years of perioperative nursing experience is essential. Candidates should possess deep knowledge of ACORN standards, ASNZ5369, and NSW Health Policy Directives.
Leadership Skills: Requires strong mentoring, communication, and organizational abilities. Previous experience in nursing management or relieving in Nursing Unit Manager roles is highly desired.
Technical Proficiency: Must be computer literate in relevant hospital programs and possess a sound understanding of clinical governance.
