Due to continued growth, a full-time opportunity is available for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Healthcare Travel Planner to join a specialised Healthcare Travel division globally.
This division manages complex, compliance-driven travel across global markets, supporting Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), employee relocations, and guest travel. The team ensures all travel is delivered efficiently, accurately, and in full alignment with industry regulations and internal governance frameworks.
About the Role
This is a fast-paced and varied role suited to a collaborative team player with strong communication, relationship management, and commercial skills. You will be responsible for delivering high-touch service while building strong relationships with both clients and suppliers.
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in healthcare travel logistics, a solid understanding of compliance requirements, and the ability to identify opportunities to drive revenue while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end travel arrangements for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in line with strict compliance frameworks
- Ensure all bookings, documentation, and expenses meet transparency, approval, and audit requirements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global and regional HCP compliance regulations
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential compliance risks
- Create and manage individual and group travel bookings, ensuring accuracy across internal systems
- Provide consultative travel solutions to maximise client outcomes
- Negotiate competitive rates with airlines, hotels, and ground suppliers
- Deliver exceptional client service at all times
- Develop a strong understanding of client accounts, including brand, market, and competitor landscape
- Manage multiple priorities, including urgent and short-lead requests within SLA timeframes
- Attend client and internal meetings as required
- Contribute to departmental targets by driving revenue and minimising cancellations
- Achieve agreed objectives and support broader team initiatives
- Participate in regular performance and development discussions
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing travel for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), with strong compliance knowledge
- Background in corporate travel
- Strong GDS expertise
- Advanced fare and ticketing knowledge, including Published, Nett, and NDC fares
- Excellent hotel knowledge, including rate structures and supplier negotiation
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Ability to manage high-pressure, time-sensitive requests
- Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAdditional language skills (Spanish, German, Italian, or French) an advantage
